Rakesh spent his early career at Akamai Technologies, a pioneering cloud services company that delivers up to 30% of the world’s web traffic. Most recently, Rakesh was the Global Director for Technical Sales - supporting strategic sales opportunities, managing centers-of-excellence and developing cutting-edge learning programs.
Rakesh is recognized for having launched Akamai University, a customer training and certification program designed for IT Professionals to enhance skills and expertise in cloud based applications.
Rakesh founded Dojo Labs in 2019, a firm providing learning and development solutions to B2B tech companies. The goal is to enable sales professionals to achieve higher productivity via effective learning programs.
Rakesh is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. He obtained a Bachelors in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai, and continued graduate studies in Computer Science at Rochester Institute of Technology. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and son, and moonlights as a filmmaker.
